anyone see why the following wont actually update mysql?
have ran it in the db as well and still wont update, dospite not giveing errors?

mysql_connect($db_host,$db_user,$db_pass);
mysql_select_db ($db_name) or die (mysql_error());
$photo_id = $_GET['id'];
$query2 = "UPDATE photos SET accepted = 0 AND status = screened WHERE id = $photo_id";
$result = mysql_query($query2);
echo $query2;

Change

$result = mysql_query($query2);

to

$result = mysql_query($query2) or die('Error: '.mysql_error());

That should show you an error message.

You might need single quotes around screened

the error is:
Error: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'SET status = 'accepted' WHERE id = '1585902'' at line 1

Errrr.......

There is no " SET status = 'accepted' " in that query.

Have you changed it and if so can you post the new code.

You don't need the AND just a comma so

$query2 = "UPDATE photos SET accepted = 0, status = 'screened' WHERE id = $photo_id"; 

should work
