I use dreamhost, and they usally are pritty good at letting people edit their htaccess files.
If its somthing that can be done in there, thats cool, but if it means rebuilding the php version, i wouldnt really want to do that.
I'll have a look for a function, then see about regetting copy() back in if i cannot find anything.
