mail function

im starting to doubt my ability to read the php manual.
Somehow this thing is not sending emails.
Any thoughts why?
(Yes i did change [e-mail] into an actual email address 😛)

mail('[e-mail]', 'My Subject', 'my message');

Try:

mail('[e-mail]', 'Subject', 'Message', "FROM: Me <[e-mail]>\r\n");

From the manual:

Note: When sending mail, the mail must contain a From header. This can be set with the additional_headers parameter, or a default can be set in php.ini.
