If you go to that URL you'll be redirected to a .flv file. Using fsockopen and fputs to get the header info returns:
HTTP/1.1 200 OK Date: Thu, 01 Feb 2007 01:19:50 GMT Connection: close Server: DMS/1.0.42 Content-Type: text/html; charset=utf-8
My guess is that is the header for the first page not the actual file. Any idea how to pull the size of the file it redirects to? I'm wondering if there is a way to get the URL of the file after the redirect then I should be able to use that to get the file info?

regardless you shouldn't really need to have the links work if you know of a solution to my problem (or know the problem to not have a solution). either the 1616086.flv file or the server is redirecting to a .flv file in another location and the browser gives me a prompt asking if i want to save it. i want to find the size of that file without downloading it
honestly i don't think there is a way to do what i want but i was hoping maybe theres some genius programmer out here that could help.
