I really don't know where to start so feel free to point me in the right direction. I've looked over all the GIS/Geocoding PHP mapping articles on this site and I'm still lost. Mainly because what I'm doing is fictional...
Let me outline what I'd like to do.
Fictional map with sectors (outlined areas) of the map that are colored based upon a database query (depending upon the owning team)
Ability to drill into these sectors and see information on the sector based upon a database query.
Ability to move your units around the map based upon the allowed move distance.
It's going to be a gaming map that needs the features listed above. I'm confused on what avenue to take, thinking Flash is probably my best bet. If anyone know of any tutorials that may help me accomplish what it is I'm trying to do, please let me know.
