Most popular framework?

I work for a small firm and I would like us to start using a framework for PHP apps. What seems to be the most popular framework? I often hire freelancers so I need one that the most people are familiar with.

Take a look at the green orange framework. Others are developed, but I'm not sure how other coders take to it.

Personally, your business needs to define what framework you want to use, and then require coders to learn it, or already know it. then there's no ambiguity as to what you expect them to know or use. It's company policy to be with X framework.

That's the idea. Now, which framework should I make it our policy to use? Any idea which one more people already know? Perhaps the one that's been around the longest is the more developed and more widely recognized?
