running a php server

is it possible to run a php enabled server and apache on a mac? If so can anyone point me in the right direction?

Well you could use MAMP or XAMPP (which works on all OS's) click the last link B[/B] in my signature to get Apache with PHP and MySQL and more for your MAC.

yep, use xammp, its pretty cool , easy to use, and it sets everything up for you.
