forum to buy or use

hello, i am busy making a content management system and would like to use either a free php/mysql open source forum or buy a forum (php / mysql based)

does anyone have any recommendations?

i just want it to be easily updatable so I can fit it into the current website design, and must be relatively easy to integrate
