If it is from the second code then you are already in a php-block and can't start another. Try to comment <?php out and it will probably work.

line 159 is the last line of search.php... i suggest you fix the html issues then try to fix the PHP issues... its really just a nightmare to figure out

you really should brush up on your CSS and HTML skills.. youll find that little things like consistent hierarchy indenting ill help you debug your code much faster and easier

all i did was indent your code properly to show the nesting and it was instantly evident that u were missing a brace

use CSS as much as possible... inline styling just adds to the weight of the html and again makes it harder to work with

the cleaner you code, the easier debugging it will be 🙂

Exactly; this is what formatting source code is for. The computer doesn't care: tidy source code is entirely for the benefit of the human who's writing it.
