Get and display text from another URL's div

I'm making a site for my friend's band and they have a myspace site that has up to date info about upcoming shows. I don't want them to have to input a new show on myspace and on their own site.

I've been fooling around with curl and can display the whole myspace site. But I just want the info from <div id="profile_bandschedule"> and I don't want the format with it (ie <font color="#ffffff" size="2" face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><span align="right")

Any ideas on how to retrieve the text from this div and display it. I'm a bit of a newbie when it comes to fopen and curl.

Sorry, need to modify the pattern just a bit:

$pattern = '~<div.*id="right_content_container".*>(.*)</div>~iUs';
