[RESOLVED] Service vs. Running Manually

Is the only real difference between running Apache and MySQL as services vs. running them manually that a service will start up with Windows?

I would say that as a service that yes when Windows starts up that your Apache and MySql would both be running without you having to do anything, I have always used them as a service as I do not have to do anything at all as they are always running in the background.
