authentication software

Hi folks

I'm after some code, or a product, anything really, that'll allow me to restrict access to my site to logged in members. I need to be able to register them, store passwords, accept logins etc.

I assume php is the best option, if not please enlighten me.

Try getting any forum software or even a CMS (Content Management System) some are phpbb download HERE (forums only), PHP-Nuke available HEREThere are others so just do a search for CMS or BBS or forum software.
