okay.. this is unique, and I cant figure out how to resolve this one
i generate a list of data based on user input and spit out results, thats fine.. now i need to spit out results, but after X amount of cycles, remove an amount from the first result, then after X++ remove something from the second...
Cycle VAR 10% Total Remove
01 10.00 1.00 11.00 -0.00
02 11.00 1.10 12.10 -0.00
03 12.10 1.21 13.31 -0.00
04 13.31 1.33 14.64 -0.00
05 14.64 1.46 16.10 -0.00
06 16.10 1.61 17.71 -0.00
07 17.71 1.77 19.48 -0.00
08 19.48 1.95 21.43 -1.00
09 20.43 2.04 22.47 -1.10
10 21.37 2.13 23.50 -1.21
11 22.29 2.23 24.52 -1.33
12 23.19 2.32 25.51 -1.46
13 24.05 2.41 26.46 -1.61
as you see from the above example.. the 10% on cycle 1 is removed at cycle 8, the 10% from cycle 2 is removed from 9
now.. its not always going to be 8 cycles, sometimes it could be 12, or even 3
how can i store the 10% figure, and the one after that.. and the one after that.. until they are needed
one possibility i thought of was having it be a long string... with a unique seperator
$n = '~'.$percent.'~';
// then
$n = '~'.$n.'~'.$percent.'~';
or somehing like that... then pull the first digit, remove the ~'s and tack the new one to the end, but i wasnt sure if this would be the best way to do it
any ideas?
