[RESOLVED] store value of string(s) for set amount of cycles in a WHILE then pull them 1 by 1

okay.. this is unique, and I cant figure out how to resolve this one

i generate a list of data based on user input and spit out results, thats fine.. now i need to spit out results, but after X amount of cycles, remove an amount from the first result, then after X++ remove something from the second...

as you see from the above example.. the 10% on cycle 1 is removed at cycle 8, the 10% from cycle 2 is removed from 9

now.. its not always going to be 8 cycles, sometimes it could be 12, or even 3

how can i store the 10% figure, and the one after that.. and the one after that.. until they are needed

one possibility i thought of was having it be a long string... with a unique seperator

$n = '~'.$percent.'~';

// then 

$n = '~'.$n.'~'.$percent.'~';

or somehing like that... then pull the first digit, remove the ~'s and tack the new one to the end, but i wasnt sure if this would be the best way to do it

any ideas?

but wouldnt that store uselss older data long after it isnt needed?

say i run it for 1000 or even 10000 cycles, and only need it for 2 or 10.. i understnd that the server can deal with a lot of info - but isnt that making it keep data it doesnt need excessively?

it would only store data from the current run

once a page is rendered only session data is stored... i use that term loosely... but normal variables and things of that nature are gone after the PHP engine has compiled and used them

well, it worked, and doesnt seem to tax the system.. so thank you. i did try it with a cycle of 10000, which is more than it should need at any given time, but possible
