Check filesize..

$yahoo = filesize("http://opi.yahoo.com/online?u=gabor_szauer&m=g&t=0");
$aim = filesize("http://api.oscar.aol.com/SOA/key=ga18J5r7qzwk9D2J/presence/gaborszauer");
print $yahoo;
print $aim;

I am trying to check the filesize of those files... But am having absolutely no luck with it.... Any suggestions?

i though filesize could only check files not what their redirections are, however i could be wrong

Considering that there's a good chance that those "files" (those aren't filenames, they're URLs) might not even exist until they've been requested......

But see what it says in the manual about when and where [man]filesize[/man] can be used.
