Specify php.ini at startup

I'm grading PHP on a production server and wondering if it's possible to specify the php.ini file PHP5 uses? This would give me the chance to make sure bugs are out before dropping PHP4.

Windows PATH variable includes only 'z:\php5'

Our IIS5 'Application Mapping' uses 'z:\php5\php5isapi.dll' for .php5 files

But phpinfo.php5 still shows the WINNT\SYSTEM php.ini.

Can you specify an ini file for the isapi? Like 'Z:\php5\php5isapi.dll -c z:\php5\php.ini'??

Try adding a PHPRC environment variable (see this man page for more info).

That didn't seem to do it?

PHP4
is now running as CGI/FastCGI using Z:\PHP\php.ini

PHP5
was running ISAPI
using Z:\WINNT (which means not found?)
and php.ini in Z:\PHP5

Adding PHPRC Z:\PHP5, renaming the configuration file to php-isapi.ini and restarting the server now just seems to hang *.php5 files.

I'll probably just try some fanagling to get the isapi up then switch over.

Hmm... odd... though I've never tried to run PHP4 and 5 on IIS, I would think it should work. If nothing, you could always try a better webserver software such as Apache :p
