Swap rows between 2 mySQL table..Help

Had a little bit of puzzle here. Hope you guys can help me! Thanks in advance!🙂

I have a php mysql coding project. One of the form features is the ability of a user to swap his first set of selected items with the second set of selected items from a previous form. Both sets of item will be stored in a separate mysql table.

How you do code this using check boxes and then with update each table with a submit or save button?

ex:

1st Table = American Cars

1. [id] [Dodge][make][yearbuilt][price]
2. [id] [Ford][make][yearbuilt][price]
3. [id] [Saturn][make][yearbuilt][price]
4. [id] [Chrysler][make][yearbuilt][price]
5. [id] [Oldsmobile][make][yearbuilt][price]

2nt Table = Foreign Cars

1. [id] [BMW][make][yearbuilt][price]
2. [id] [Mercedes][make][yearbuilt][price]
3. [id] [Kia][make][yearbuilt][price]
4. [id] [Toyota][make][yearbuilt][price]
5. [id] [Honda][make][yearbuilt][price]
