attach files by clicking the image

how to attach files by using the image...by clicking the image it will come a pop up message (the attachment page with browser button)...and i can attach the files..

Yep, that much is right; you'll want to use [man]header[/man] to specify that the response be sent as a raw file (MIME type application/octet-stream). See that page for details about how to name it and so on.
