rmdir() problem

i upload files into directories created and save the record in text file List.txt, then i read the record from the file and delete the files inside and then remove the directory, my code:

$fpDel=file("List.txt");             //read out the record in the List.txt
   for($x=0; $x<count($fpDel); $x++)       //get the path and file name of every file uploaded and remove it
   {
     $fileExplode=explode("\t", $fpDel[$x]);
	 $fileNameDel=$fileExplode[0];
	 $filePathDel=$fileExplode[3];
	 unlink($filePathDel."/".$fileNameDel);
   }
   for($t=5; $t<count($_SESSION['defaultFolder']); $t++)  //remove the new folder created
     rmdir($_SESSION['defaultFolder'][$t]."/");

The files are deleted but the directory cannot be removed, i got error

Warning: rmdir(gggggg/): Directory not empty in d:\inetpub\wwwroot\php\test 1\Upload.php on line 23

Directories MUST be empty to remove them.

the directory is empty... all the files are removed, but i still got the message

Apparently the folder is NOT empty. Instead of reading names from a list, why not just recursively delete all files in that directory?

On the [man]unlink/man page, you'll find a function that recursively deletes files:

function rfr($path,$match){
   static $deld = 0, $dsize = 0;
   $dirs = glob($path."*");
   $files = glob($path.$match);
   foreach($files as $file){
     if(is_file($file)){
         $dsize += filesize($file);
         unlink($file);
         $deld++;
     }
   }
   foreach($dirs as $dir){
     if(is_dir($dir)){
         $dir = basename($dir) . "/";
         rfr($path.$dir,$match);
     }
   }
   return "$deld files deleted with a total size of $dsize bytes";
} 

You could then replace the return statement with the rmdir() call to remove the directory itself.
