My hosting company does not allow socket programming now!
I am in the middle of a project and need a relatively cheap hosting company that will allow me to write php programmes that use socket server and client server methods (+mysql). I spent most of yesterday searching the net and various forums, ringing up hosting companies etc. etc. Linking socket programming and hosting companies seems to land me in a big plack hole.
So, please guys, who would you recommend?
