PayPal integration

I am currently in the process of planning a new site build. The site is a basic shopping cart system.

I am wanting to integrate PayPal into this site. I have scanned over their APIs.

Just curious, what do you think the best way of accepting PayPal is?

Also, has anybody got any example code of PayPal in use?

Look at Paypal's own documentation and examples. There are some in PHP.

Although Paypal's callback system may use curl, it is also easily possible to adapt it to use fopen(), which is more standard with PHP5+
