[RESOLVED] Change Time in MySQL server-pls help

Hi,
I would like to change the current time according to daylight savings time(DST) in mysql server. I tried using time zone variable in my.cnf.
But it dint change. will you please explain me where i have to go and change the current time.
Please help.

server gets its time from the OS. you need to patch the OS to do the DST change. Is this a windows or *nix baed OS?
