Hi, I am a newbie here.
I got a dedi box and vps as well.
but since when i moved the script from share hosting to these two server, the script starts warning that files and folder are not writtable.
after i run chown -R apache:apache * , then script works without any warning; however, ftp user on this domain will says permission deny whenever i try to modify files through ftp.
so what i did was chown -R ftpuser:psacln * when i want to modify something through ftp.
This give me headache when I want to modify something. Because I have to open up putty ssh every time.
I remembered when I have share account, I don't have so many troubles.
It must be setting somewhere so apache and ftp account can share the same previlliages.
Can someone give me some advises, maybe this is repeated question, but I sincerely hopes someone can help me out here, too much time wasted on google search already.
