Help with Insert

Hello I want to know if is possible to insert more than 1 record at the same time in one table, my idea is to have somthing like

name: carlos, john, stephan
address: scholossstrasse, worblaufen, hohgantweg
tel: 123, 234, 324

and to make the insertion of the 3 records at the same time

please if someone have one sample or know how to do it I'll be really glad

Yes it is possible.

Query should look somethink like:

INSERT INTO table (name, address, tel) VALUES ('carlos', 'scholossstrasse', '123'), ('john', 'worblaufen', '234'), ('stephan', 'hohgantweg', '324')

ok, the problem is to get it from different text box and not repeat the value in one record.

the idea is to fill like a table with all the fields, clic submit and add right the way all the records in the db

You should consider naming the fields in your update form as arrays:

<input type=\"text\" name=\"address[]\">Address 1
<input type=\"text\" name=\"address[]\">Address 2
<input type=\"text\" name=\"address[]\">Address 3

This will result in an array of addresses in your $POST array (You can see the structure of this by placing a print_r($POST) command in the top of your page).

You can than loop through the posted data, and build your insert that way.
