button dissapears

I have created a form which accepts a long text article and stores it in a database.
The form has a "change article" button on the botton for changing the article when the user wants to do so.
The problem i have is that when the article is longer than 3 or 4 lines the "change article" button disapears and the users are unable to change their previous article.
Any clue why this happen????

I can't figure it out. I have changed the database fields from short to long text, i have done everything i could possibly think of but still no solution to this.

any way you could post the code? did you check the resulting html source, whether the html code for the button is in there somewhere?
