[RESOLVED] Convert datetime to uk format

I have stored date information in mysql as datetime
I can extract this fine and display on the page.

How do I extract it, but convert this to UK format

d / m / Y

If you mean "dd/mm/yyyy":

SELECT DATE_FORMAT(my_date, '%d/%m/%Y') as uk_date;

Thank you for your help. You managed to solve my problem with your example.
But I also found another way to do it.

I pulled the date from the database and converted this to a Unix Timestamp using strtotime

Once I had the timestamp and then converted this back to a date but in UK Format dd/mm/YY
