[RESOLVED] Javascript, Diagonal lines, Canvas, divs, zindex ... eugh.

OK, so I've got two divs, that have 3 spans inside each them.

I am trying to draw a line from the a span in one div to the span in the other div.

The divs are draggable so the user needs to be able to click on them, so therefore it must be on top... that means the line goes under the div. However, if i put the canvas layer over the top then i cant click on the divs to drag them around.

is there a way to get the mouse click to pass through an object and click the one behind? or any other suggestions...
