Find and replace links in a webpage before output

Hi All,

Just a quick question for you all.

I'm doing a bit of work on a site and there is a table that contains an iframe tag to an external website frame that is a dynamic page.

Now what I want to do is capture the whole page (including the iframe content), just before it displays in the browser and substitute one href with another to rebrand the external source.

PS the server doesn't have wrappers enabled.

Right, I've enabled the wrappers on the server now and have had some success with the following:

$page = file_get_contents("http://www.selvinfluidpower.com/enerpac/enerpac%20technical%20library.html", "r");

// edit $page to your needs

$new_page = str_replace("HREF=\\"http://www.enerpac.com/\\" TARGET=\\"_top\\">Enerpac Home\", "HREF=\\"http://www.selvinfluidpower.com/enerpac/enerpac.html\">Selvin Home\", $page);

echo $new_page;

?>

However when it outputs the dynamic portion does not include the changes.

viewing the source of "http://www.selvinfluidpower.com/enerpac/enerpac%20technical%20library.html" i do not see the line you wish to change.
