Some Form questions

Hi folks,

Just have a few questions regarding some things Id like to do with a form.. now Im not too sure if Im in the right section as Im guessing this may be javascript, but Im a complete n00b with that!

Anyway, I have a form that selects a list of departure points from a MySQL table. What I want to happen is when a user selects their departure point from the menu, a menu below (destinations) updates and displays only destination points that have the selected departure point.
Im not sure if Im making myself clear their, but an example is airlines' websites that display the applicable destinations to the departure airport you select.

Secondly, is it possible to have a link users click to make a new form field appear if they cant select anything from the menu?

Id appreciate any help on the above!

Thanks for the reply roscor.. Ive looked into it today and unfortunately what I want to do is way beyond my skill, so Im just going to leave the menu thing.

Im still interested in adding a form field to an existing form though - how would I go about that?

ie. have a normal link saying "Click here if you need to add another field" and when you click it makes a new form field?

It's still Javascript ... you feel up to a bit of DOM manipulation?
