Hi all 🙂 Long time no see.
I'm searching for anyone who has implemented anything involving TAPI using PHP. (yes, I know, stop using Windows, but sorry, that's what i've got)
I need to implement telephone dialing and caller ID discovery in a program, preferably in PHP, as that's the only development environment that I've got going.
A google search has really not turned up much of anything besides a few other people asking the same question, as well as a couple of people with the answer "it uses COM, so use the COM functions."
At this point, I know absolutely nothing about:
TAPI/how to use it from any language
COM/how to use it from any language
how to do anything involving COM or TAPI from PHP
So, I was hoping that someone could point me to some resources that would help me put these things together, if there's no one who's documented it already.
Of course, once I figure it out, if there isn't any decent documentation, I'd probably write my own docs, as well, for the rest of the world.
