Would anyone have a database of cars make and model? Or now of a place to get one? Just trying to save time.

You can find a database at: http://www.carmakemodeldatabase.com/ It even includes 2012 cars.

For our project we have used:
cars make-model-year-trim database from here: http://allcarsdatabase.com
moto vehicles make-model-year database have got from: http://allmotodatabase.com
Each package contains an SQL file, that you can import into your database.
