[RESOLVED] How to modify the temp dir for uploaded files with ini_set()?

I know this is the answer to my problem, but i just cant find how to modify the temp dir of my server using ini_set(), any suggestions ? thanks

That's a good sign, then, because you can't!

If you'll look in the appendix, you'll note that the upload_tmp_dir directive can only be modified in the php.ini or httpd.conf (assuming you're using Apache) files.

Then, im in big troubles.

I need to upload files but it says:

Warning: copy(photos/8/72623410995109_d435dd39a1_o.jpg) [function.copy]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/mysite/public_html/php/in_photo.php on line 131

im trying to use copy because move_uploaded_files() didnt work either.

what can i do ?, i have setted folder right to 777 and everything =(

[man]move_uploaded_files/man was designed to... move uploaded files, so that'll be the function to use. I highly suspect you're using it in the wrong manner, rather than it not working correctly.

Can you show us some code?

im not using upload2 to upload5

this thing use ot work on my local server and on other servers but not on this one =(

D'oh, wait a sec... does this '8' directory exist yet? You might need to use [man]is_dir/man to check that, and if it doesn't exist create it with [man]mkdir[/man].

What do you mean? In the output you showed us, these indeces were blank (e.g. no file was uploaded in those fields)... so obviously, if you're not verifying that something was uploaded (e.g. with the [man]empty/man function), then you're going to get errors.

I didnt realize that when I uploaded the script, i didnt created the dirs again !
