[RESOLVED] Calculate minutes between 2 GMT Times?

how would i go about calculating the total number of elapsed minutes between 2 GMT Times in the 24 hour format.

so:

between
1200 on 1-1-07
and
1100 on 2-1-07

= 1380 minutes or 23 hours

its vital that it can calculate it if it is over 2 days such as above
