[RESOLVED] Export to CVS?

I'd like to select several records out of my database and export them via CVS. Is this possible? So for example:
SELECT * FROM tablename WHERE column = 'value';

and then export in csv format????

If using PHP 5.1.0 or later, you can use the [man]fputcsv/man function.

haha, by the way, "CVS" and "CSV" are very different.

Oops! I'm so glad you noticed that! I would have been studying the the fputcsv() function for hours for no reason. I meant CSV.......... sorry again

Don't worry: I assumed you meant CSV, and that's why I pointed out the fputcsv/b function to you. 🙂

Thanks..sorry I'm such a bonehead... Is there anyway to do this in phpmyadmin?

In phpMyAdmin: (1) select the desired database, (2) select the "Export" tab, (3) select the "CSV" option in the Export fieldset, (4) fiddle with the default options if you feel so inclined, and (5) click "Go".

Sorry again if I'm being a bonehead but I don't see where there's an option to select certain conditions. When I try to export, all I see is the option to export the entire table.
