Is this 2 database problem solveable? Any help is most welcome

I`m a newb to this board but I really need help. I managed to gel 2 CMS programs together, but the remaining part is I need to integrate the registering and logins.

The main fields I need to be identical for both CMS to work are user name and password fields to allow me to get into the 2 systems (i.e - login 2 both at once), which I guess means copying the user & password from one db to the other upon registering.

Once each login is done they can operate independently (while together, i know, sounds weird) - also, I would need to be able to logout of the 2 at the same time aswell (run a double query.)

I have placed all the fields for the 2 CMS programs into 1 DB. Can anyone help me to solve the above?

what you are experiencing is the whole 'trying to merge two open source systems' disaster. You'll need to UTSL (Use The Source, Luke!). Read the source code and determine how each different system handles table insertion, login, and sessioning and then figure it out!

Thanx for the reply, but with all the videos, editing and music composition I need to do I do not have time for such an analysis.

I may just hire a programmer to sort it out for me if worse comes to worse, any good resources you can suggest for me to find one?
