hi guys..i have this error when i try to submit/insert data into the database..

the following error:
Error in query INSERT INTO (ttNo) VALUES ('232') You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '(ttNo) VALUES ('232')' at line 1

what went wrong here?is it my source code or my database?

Looks like you left out the table name. It should be something like:

INSERT INTO table_name (ttNo) VALUES ('232')

actaully what does that error means??error on my script or error on sql server?

The error means that your database query was invalid and was rejected by MySQL. The specific reason it was rejected is because it does not specify the name of the table into which the data is to be inserted.

any suggestion on how to troubleshoot this error??becos tis src is not wrote by me so i don really know which table it is pointing to..
