[RESOLVED] Upload files with user form confusion.

Hello everyone,

I have read many tutorials and posts on how to upload files to the server, but all of them assume thats all the form does.

Maybe I am approaching this wrong, but I want to give users (Note this is a secured directory that only our staff can access) the ability to attach file(s) to the posts in our form. Please note this is a job ticket form for our staff to request changes to our sites and there could be many posts on the same work order page. Similar to this forum.

The form has a series of fields needed to order/revise web work, and sometimes the staff member may need to attach 1 or more files to the post.

I could make a link to another form that just does file uploads. The downside is I would need to get the post ID and pass it to the upload page and assign all the file(s) the ID to retrieve them later. This is what I think you will suggest.

Am I approaching this correctly?

First, make a form like this:

This is page2.php:

That worked great.

Now I can add some dynamics to the number of uploads (via a drop down) and they can attach to their hearts content.
