Internal Server Error.....

Ok I am installing cutephp forums on my site. The script itself works just fine.

The instructions say that I have to rename my html file that i want news to be put on to php. When I do that , I get a Error 500 Internal Server error when i try to access that page.

So far I have tried 644,777, and 755 permissions which none worked

Any other ideas?

CHMOD deals with permissions, not 500 errors.

There is something wrong with the script, or (most likely) .htaccess
