Proper connection resource?

I'm having trouble connecting to my database through code. I am using Team Media Online as my web host and they offer mysql services. I have a database, and i can access it fine through the database manager, but when i try to access it through code, i do not know what connection resource to use😕. I tried using my domain name. I tried "localhost". and a few other things, but none of them work, any ideas?

ive tried and all they do is refer me to their useless "help page"

Well somewhere in your account there should be the connection info for the db you created. The db name, user and password you should know, but the server name is the problem, that could be named anything. What do you see when you use the 'database manager'?
