I'm looking at developing a module and/or plugin system for a web app I am writing. Like virtually all CMS systems do.
I just can't figure out how I want to do it. Does anyone have any good URLs or suggestions on how to approach this? I can't seem to contract a good search query for the boards and Google I guess.
I'd like to keep everything contained into one directory and maybe use an XML file to load the active modules. Or maybe load them from the DB?
Any advice?
