[RESOLVED] $_POST doesn't acknowledge delimiter

I have a hidden input with escaped delimiters and when i submit and then var_dump($_POST) it doesn't listen to the escape. Instead of having "yes yes \"favorite quote\"", it has "yes yes\". And if I check the value of the hidden input before i submit, it is all escaped and looks exactly like it should.

Any idea why?

You should use " instead of escaping with a backslash. In PHP, this can be achieved using [man]htmlspecialchars/man or [man]htmlentities/man.
