Hello, i downloaded the xammp package and the install seem to work ok and at first i could start the msql service from the control panel but after i tried to setup the my.ini file it just wont start. Apache and the other services is working ok.
I get this error message when i try to start from msql_start
cant start server bind on tcp/ip port:invalid argument
error. do you allready have another msqld server running on port 3306?
I opend up port 3306 in the windows firewall and msql is also listed as
exception so that should be ok.
Im running xp servicepack 2, i got microsoft framenetwork installed.
The only msql i use is not local its on a webhost.
Strange that it worked at first but then just shutdown.
I also get the errormessage odbc driver 3.51 not found when i start msql
administrator. I aslo got a green dot in the checkbox in the controlpanel next to
msql, apache and the other services dont got this green dot next to them.
I would be very thankful if somebody could help me out so i can get msql up
and running.
