I've got a lot on my hands, but is there any interest in a PHP based Home Server script (as an OS alternative to Microsoft's Windows Home Server)? Not to back up files, but to provide an internet interface to your home network (browse files on local computers, stream music, manage programs [like uTorrent or Asterisk], use your server as a web proxy, view webcams in your home, control devices (through one of the Home Automation protocols))? Any ideas or volunteers?
