New to PHP and trying to get a simple script to work!

I am totally new to PHP and am having problems with, what looks like a fairly simple script.

It is a currency conversion script and should be fairly straight forward?

Rather than try and explain it it's probably easier to just post the URL of where it's located and copies of the code so you can see first hand what Im going on about.

This is where Im testing it:
http://exchangerate.hk/test/index.htm

This is an exact copy of the code Im using:
http://exchangerate.hk/test/example2_code.htm

And this is the code from the include 'CurrencyConverter.php'
http://exchangerate.hk/test/CurrencyConverter_php_code.htm

Not knowing what I'm doing doesn't help much but if the glaring mistakes could be pointed out I'd really appreciate it ...

Thanks for the tip ... unfortunately it is still throwing up the same errors

If you do a phpinfo(), what's the value for allow_url_fopen ?

Local Value and Master Value is 'Off'

So I'm guessing that would be why then?

My host (Dreamhost) has this to say about it:

Well, looks like you either need to compile your own PHP installation or use [man]cURL[/man] to retrieve the XML file.

I don't think I can do as you suggested.

Can you recommend a script that will do the same thing but is more or less ready to go, what with my lack of PHP skills?
