CV Parsing

I was wondering has anybody come across a tool that parses Curriculum Vitaes? I am looking to integrate a feature into an online recruitment tool that aids shortlisting by parsing CV's. I do not want to reinvent the wheel if something open source is out there or if I can adapt something similar

Really, given the phenomenal variations possible in what a CV even looks like, let alone things like organisation, layout, formatting, and content......

This is why employment agencies that provide facilities to upload resumés also have a pile of other form fields that jobseekers get to fill in as well. That is what is used in shortlisting.

I work for a company that specialises in exactly this...

we can process pretty much any CV in any format and over a few languages and extract the relavent information and stick it in XML.
