My set up:
- Fedora Core 4
- Apache 2.054
- PHP 5.04
- Linux newbie (me)
Initially I had no gd support at all. I learned myself and discovered what a great tool yum is. Used yum 'install php-gd' and got gd enabled on my server. Ran some test scripts and it looked great! But alas, my web pages will still not work properly.
I load up a phpinfo page and down near the bottom where it covers gd it says it's enabled and everything is supported. But up at the top of the page in the 'config file' area I see a little switch near the last of the list that says 'without-gd' ARGGHHHH!! Is this the root of all my evil? How can I recomplie PHP to have 'with-gd'? I've been searching and reading for days and still can not get it to work. PLEASE for the love of all things holy, can someone help me?!
