Cookie help

I need a little help with the time a cookie will last. What is the longest you can set a cookie for and how would that be written in place of the (3600*24) ? Is it possible to set one for 6 months or a year?

AFAIK, Internet Explorer doesn't have any limit. FireFox, however, has the network.cookie.lifetime.days setting (which defaults to 90).
