PHP to XML

Does anyone out there know how to generate an xml link (xlink) using the DOM?

It needs to be related to a specific node. I suspect it has something to do with namespace but not sure.

I'm surprised that I can't find anything about it anywhere, so I'm hoping one of you has done it before.

Do you have to use an xlink for your situation? Cause in my opinion there is too much information required to describe and set and xml link.

well I'm generating the xml dynamically and I'm using PHP's DOM to do it. It's not possible to "manually" the link because of the dynamic nature of the code, so yes, as far as I can tell I have to use xlink, but I'm open to suggestions.
