Concatenate strings

Hello:

I'm trying to concatenate to session variables so the result would appear like:
5' 6".

This is what I did and I'm coming up blank.

<?php echo $_SESSION['height_ft'] . '' ' . $_SESSION['height_inches'] . '" ' .;?>

Can someone help me out?

It's coming up blank because you need to escape one of your single quotes. The escape character in PHP is "\".

So your code should be:

<?php echo $_SESSION['height_ft'] . '\' ' . $_SESSION['height_inches'] . '" '; ?>

Not to mention that you had an extraneous "." at the end of the line.
