working with dates

I'm wanting to return all the data from my database for an exact date. My date field is a timestamp. Here is the code that I have been trying to use:

select * from production where date like '2007-05-30';

or

select * from production where date = '2007-05-30';

Thanks for any help that you can provide.

Try using the DATE() function on the 'date' column to convert the timestamp to a DATE value (that way you can do a simple comparison, as you tried in the second query).

Use the strtotime(date('Y-m-d')) to convert the date in time stamp

Use this code and try
select * from production where date ='".strtotime("2007-05-30")."'

and let me know in case of not working
