[RESOLVED] General Cache Question

This is probably in the wrong section but I have a general cache question.

I have added the following to my head tag
<META HTTP-EQUIV="expires" CONTENT="Wed, 19 Feb 2003 08:00:00 GMT">

This should prevent caching of the page.

My question is, What about my users who already have cached the page before I inserted that line of text?

Will they still be loading from cache, or from the server?

From their cache, naturally.

This is one reason why you should send an actual HTTP header (e.g. using the [man]header/man function) instead of a META tag (which a browser may or may not take into consideration).
